- AdminPak Error
- Posted by james on January 26th, 2004
Im having problems with adminpak not connecting to domain
I had 2 x w2k dc's, both global catalogs, and im connecting with winxp, 2003
adminpak to administer the domain.
All was well until we had to move the fsmo roles from one dc to the other,
since then i get a popup box (ad users and computers for example) "Naming
Convention cannot be located for the following reason, Server is not
operational" Once the mmc opens, i can then connect to the domain/domain
controller but certain tasks say i dont have sufficient rights.
I cant find anything related in the event logs and ive tried uninstalling
and reinstalling the adminpak but that doesnt work either
Any help will be appreciated.. =)
