We are starting a project to migrate our NetWare 4.11 file
and print services to Windows Server 2003. The project
starts after completing a NT 4.0 migration to A/D. Since
we will have a fully populated A/D, we can't use the
Microsoft utilities for the migration (Microsoft services
for netware v5) because it needs to migrate the users from
NDS before migrating the files. The problem is that the
users already exist after migrating from NT4 to windows
2003 AD. And we can't map Netware users with those in AD.
The names of these users in AD are the same as those
actually in the NDS.
Any recommendations on 3rd party tools and is there
another way to handle it?
