I am unable to install MSDSS during the portion of the
install when it updates the Active Directory Schema I get
the following error. error encountered while updating the
active directory schema, error code (8206) the Directory
Service is Busy. The install fails at that point and will
not continue. Any one have a solution?
Thanks

What OS are you running? Windows 2000 or Windows Server 2003?

I'd recommend to verify the DCs first with DcDiag from the Support Tools. Run
"dcdiag /v > c:\dcdiag.log" and search dcdiag.log for "fail".

Are you sure you are able to write to the Schema?
Did you look at the following KB and perform the operation step-by-step?

Hello Ulf, I followed the TID to the letter, the OS is
Server 2003, we are using the 5.02 ver of the netware
services. I'll try the dcdiag when I visit the site next
week. I'll report my findings.
Thanks for taking time to answer my post.
