- new domain tree in an existent forest
- Posted by eric romero on November 18th, 2003
Hi all
We have 1 forest, 1 tree several childomains in that tree
we want to add a new tree because the IT persons in that domain want to
manage their own security??
What are the preparations needed in the forest root about DNS and sitelinks
and what are the preparations needed in the new domin tree.
We plan to run dcpromo in the new domain and select "new domain tree in an
existent forest", please could you share with me any document explaining the
process
and what are the advantages/disadvantages of using this deployment.
Rgds
