Existing domain is Windows 2000, only 1 DC, also win2k.
New server is 2003, need it to join the existing domain.
adprep /forestprep ran fine on 2000 server,
but /domainprep crashes each time it runs. In additon
upgrade check on 2000 server says it cannot be upgraded to
2003. When I try to run dcpromo on 2003 box, AD
installtion fails, and tells me I need to run
adprep /domainprep first. Is there a way to work around
this, or am I stuck?

Make sure replication is happening between the two w2k dcs what error does
the domain prep give you
repadmin /showreps and dcdiag /v foutput from both dcs would be helpful

Thanks, I ran a check upgrade from a different disk, and
it came up with several warnings, and one failure -the
domain needs to be upgraded via adprep /domainprep. To
give more detail on that subject, when I run adprep, I get
