I am experiencing some grief with some printers. My
enviroment is Windows 2003, all workstations are 2k sp4
and all HP 4050 TN printers. At first, people would print
to a printer, and nothing would come out, i would check
the queue..see the job..but wouldnt come out. Go to the
printer, hit cancel job, no job to cancel it would say..so
then i would delete it from the queue, but would say,
deleting job and could take up to 5 hrs to actually delete
the job, while at the sametime holding back jobs. So i
would restart the spooler service on the server. Only prob
with that it clears all the jobs in queue. I have since,
downloaded the latest 2003 driver from HP, used it, same
thing. I have changed the options in the printer to print
directly to the printer, still no go..My question is, do
anyone have an idea of what can be happening?? Or any
where I can start to help toubleshoot the problem??
