I have configured a forest in my network. The base
domain of the forest is "universal.com". It has a child
domain "earth.universal.com". This forest has one more
domain "galaxy.com".
I have configured the domain "universal.com" as
the "global catalog" for this Active Directory.
My query is that, can we test for the referral and
replication in this setup.

Also, If I need to test for the referral or replication
in the Global Catalog setup, can I do that using my
existing setup(as described above) or do I need to add
something else also to this setup.

Galaxy is a discontigous namespace in this situation correct?
What are you looking for as far as referrals? What's the end result you
need to achieve to consider your deployment successful? Is there an
application?
