hi guys

i have a big problem with ADS replication (Windows Server
2003). within a domain one domain controller cannot
replicate. Last successful replication was about 25 days
ago. the server was installed in our headquarter, now it
was shipped to one of our subsidaries. since we turned it
on in our subsidary i get following errormessages.

System-Log: Event-ID 4

The kerberos client received a KRB_AP_ERR_MODIFIED error
from the server host/brateggedcg1.br-automation.com. The
target name used was cifs/brateggedcg1.br-automation.com.
This indicates that the password used to encrypt the
kerberos service ticket is different than that on the
target server. Commonly, this is due to identically named
machine accounts in the target realm (BR-AUTOMATION.COM),
and the client realm. Please contact your system
administrator.

Direcotry Service Log: Event-ID 1925 NTDS/KCC

The attempt to establish a replication link for the
following writable directory partition failed.

Direcotry Service Log: Event-ID 1311 NTDS/KCC

The Knowledge Consistency Checker (KCC) has detected
problems with the following directory partition.

I did not find any solutions in knowledge base

I have the same problem. However, my remote DC was
replicating fine at the new site for a while.

I also get an access denied error when trying to connect
to the main DC.

Still haven't found an answer yet.

As far as your problem, did you create a new site for the
DC and make all the necessary changes in AD Sites and
Services?
