- Upgrade Problem
- Posted by Devon on February 24th, 2004
I'm getting ready to upgrade our network to 2003 AD. I'm in the middle of
installing a new server with Windows 2003 and then I plan on doing th
eupgrade with the new server.
The Problem I'm running in to is in
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;325379
I'm at:
Scenario 2: Exchange 2000 Schema Changes Will Be Installed Before the
Windows Server adprep /forestprep Command
Line 6c
For some reason I can not get this command to work. Do I really need to run
it? or will the Win2k3 AD adprep.exe do it for me?
Please let me know
Thank you

I will ask the obvious...
Have you replaced the X value with your domain information in the [copy
here] and command line?
i.e: dn:
CN=ms-Exch-Assistant-Name,CN=Schema,CN=Configuration,DC=corp,DC=mydomai n,DC=com
and the command line?
Can you reply to the group with the command line you are running and a
sample line of the ldifde file?
