- You do not have the permission to send .....
- Posted by Thomas on November 19th, 2003
Hi I know this is the Windows 2003 area. But have anyone
seen the below problem?
"You do not have the permission to send the message on
behalf of the specified user"
1. We have installed the new Exchange 2003 server on
Windows 2003
2. started to move mailboxes to the new server
3. We have accounts that are in use by several users.
4. The "shared" account is now moved to the new 2003
Exchange server
5. Accounts that have the full mailbox right on the shared
account that are still on the old server CAN send on the
behalf of the shared account.
6. Users that now are moved to the Exchange 2003 can NOT
longer send on behalf the "shared" account.
Why is that so?
Please help!
best
Thomas
