- General Protection Fault
- Posted by Carol Bense on July 30th, 2003
When using one piece of software, Peopleware Pro, we get an
error message "An error has occured in your program. To
keep working anyway click ignore and save your work in a
new file. To quit this program click close" Upon clicking
either ignore or close we get this message " This program
has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down."
And, of course, it is shut down. In looking at the error
log we find it says "General protection fault in module
"pbfcb1.drv at 0016.000000dbe"
I can't seem to find anything on the website to help me fix
this. Does anyone know how to do it?
