HELP PLEASE! 98 Exception OE 0028:00000017
Anybody??
I have run every win diagnostic,
Bypassed every .VXD load
Bypassed everything in diagnostics (auto.exec, config etc.
It Will operate in safe mode but "Normal" is a failure
Any help is DEEPLY APPRECIATED

When does it happen?
Have you tried updating your video drivers?

Will only boot in SAFE Mode, normal boot causes the
error..
Now it won't even error "out"
it just freezes on a curser after the CD drives
initalize..

If it won't boot in normal mode, then stop trying, and boot into Safe Mode for troubleshooting.
In Safe Mode, click Start> Run, type MSCONFIG and click OK.
Click the 'Advanced' button on the General tab.
Put a check in the box for 640X480X16, and click OK, and OK.
Then restart and see if you still get the problem in normal mode.
If you do, go back to Safe Mode and follow the procedures here to try to determine the cause:
