Hey, I'm still using Win95 on my Gateway P5-90, which I bought new in 1994.
It still runs happily with an upgarded 200Mhz chip and 64MB of RAM. I run
Word 6 and Quicken 6 for my home business. Yes, I like the user interface of
Quicken 6, circa 1994. I do my bookkeeping and taxes on it. Win95 runs my
business' late 1970's DOS inventory/invoice program very handily. I get slower,
but reliable internet broadband access on my Charter 10mbs service. It also
networks beautifully with a standard Linksys router connecting my other Win98
and WinXP desktops and laptops. Best of all, Win95 never hiccups. It just keeps
on running. So Win95 is still a productive part of my home biz. But I will admit,
there's also some nostalgia involved

Nice to meet another person who believes computers are to be
used for work and not for staring at the semi-transparent
windows. Nothing wrong with nostalgia either! I MISS the good
old days.
Cheers.
P.S.
My 166MMX machine is now 10½ years old and works beautifully.
But you DO have me beat by 3 years!

I have 96MB now too - there is little difference in performance,
to be honest, but what can you expect from a 166MMX. It' still
faster than a Vista machine.
I have long since realized I was /kind of/ incorrect about the
64MB limit, although many DO mention it, and I still have to see
a /definite/ statement, like from whomever designed the 95
kernel etc. (Of course this will never happen.)
FWIW, I do not believe the 95B OS is making use of the 32 extra
MB's I put in, since all that happens now is that after I have
booted up (45 seconds from BIOS password) I now have up to 60 MB
RAM free whereas before I had about 30. Of course, that's not
really much of an indication of anything. If I do something
stupid like run 10 instances of a browser at the same time, it
/will/ crash like it always did. Swap file use appears to be
identical (I haven't bothered to actually take down the figures,
it's not that important).
Cheers.

Savagery of the relationships between people. Here, everyone is
on the make, all of them doing their damndest to take someone
else by surprise, to relieve this man of his property, to enjoy
that girl's flesh. There is no gentleness, there are only
pleasures. Eyes which already devour the easy prey offered them,
eyes which seek out the chink in the armour, the weak point, the
little patch of pale skin into which the nails can sink and
bring blood spurting out. Spying eyes, fierce eyes, sharp eyes
which loathe and wound. A look which passes summary judgment, a
knowing look, one which wants, not to understand, but to keep at
a distance, to consume at a distance. A kind of tentacle, eye-
sucker clamped to the intellect's stomach. The world is not
pure. The world is free, roamed by wild animals, inhabited by
greedy, hate-filled monsters. Loneliness, indifference: hatred.
