hi,, i seem to have lost a few files,, windows expanded memory v 4.9.5
cpqdos\cpqidecd.sys himen.sys ifshlp.sys,,
cant start my windows without them??? HELP,

can you get into the BIOS? (press DEL key right after power on)
is your Harddrive detected ?
next ..boot with a floppy disk and see if you can access your HD (what does
it show? )

i cannot access anything,, tried a boot disk, i need an win 95 orignal
operating disk,,

could not boot to floppy ? try a bootdisk from www.bootdisk.com
is the BIOS set to boot to A: first ?
if you can get to boot from floppy , then at least you can look at the drive
to see any problems...

i finally got win98 to install ,,but i need a product key,, i dont have
one as i got the start up disk from a friend,, where do i find one,,or can i
just make up a number,, needs to be 25 digets,,,
