- Outlook Express 5.0: "New Message" Display
- Posted by Robert Bruce Martin on August 2nd, 2003
When I click to send a new message or to reply to a
received message, the window that appears is off-center to
the left-hand side and can't be used. The "re-size/move
arrows" appear but don't work. I click on the full-size
image (square icon) and the the window can then be used,
but takes up the full screen.
I only recently started to have the problem, and have been
through all the "Help" list and found nothing.
How do I set up Outlook Express so that when I attempt to
send a new message or a reply, a centered and useable
window appears?
Thanks.
Robert

Hello Robert,
I might be missing something here, but just click in the "title bar" and drag it to the desired location.
If that doesn't do the trick, try the following:
- Open a new message
- Right-click on an empty area of the taskbar
- Select "Cascade Windows" from the context menu
This *should* move the window to a more usable area of the screen.
Hope this helps,
