I want to shut down the computer from command prompt
console. Kindly let me know if there is a way to do so.

If yes, does this command differs for other versions of
Windows and what are those commands for the new version of
Windows like 2000, XP etc..

rundll32 user,exitwindows


(note: there is *no* space after the comma)
