Hello Jackie,

On my Win98SE when I go: Start/Settings/Active
Desktop/Customize My Desktop... - the "Web" tab is
displayed. If it is that to which you are referr_ing, you
can attem_pt to reach the "Web" tab by going_:

Start/Settings/Control Panel/Display/Web
Or, you can go: My Computer/Control Panel/Display/Web.
Or, you can go: Windows Explorer/ (scroll down to)
Control Panel/Display/Web

Hope that helps.

Have you tried getting to it this way...?...
"START, Settings, Folder Options, Settings button, Customize button".

Are there any other Explorer-related problems, any other hourglasses?
Here is a step that should prove to be harmless at worst...

"START, Run, MSInfo32, Tools menu, IE Repair Tool"

It produces a rather large "Fix IE Log.txt" in C:\Windows. IE & E
are basically one & the same. If this crashes, an over-install is
indicated.
