THE FOLDER PATH CONTAINS AN INCORRECT CHARACTER (
INSTALLER INFORMATION)

Use Control Panel to UNinstall the program you just installed, restart
your system, and then try to reinstall the program. If the new program
is not listed in Control Panel, I would first try merely reinstalling
it.
