I keep getting the following Message. " The device driver for the
'Standard 101/102 key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 Keyboard' device is
preventing the machine from entering standby. Please close all
applications and try again. If the problem persists, you may need to
update the driver. Please help me. How do I go about updating "The
Driver" This girl really needs you help. thanks. Carla in North

After posting her address in the open like that, a lot of people are going to
get to her personally. Although it could have been worse. I've seen people
post their name address and telephone number as well.

OK---so this girl goofed----Please don't fuss at me anymore. I got the
message,but my problem is not solved. Someone. Please. Tell me how I
can find the "DRIVER" where it says in my error message.,"you may

Since that is the standard driver you probably don't need an update as much as a
reinstall of the driver. Go to the Task Manager and expand the keyboard item so
you can see your keyboard R-click on it and choose Properties>Driver and click
on Update Driver.
