- Error - Out of Frequency Range
- Posted by Shirley on February 20th, 2004
I tried to install a CD for my grandson. The CD told me
to change the resolution. I did so and immediately got
an error message:
Attention:
Out of frequency range.
(There were some numbers but I am at work not at home)
I tried rebooting both soft and hard and still get the
same error message. I can hear W98 loading in the
background but cannot get to the desktop to change the
resolution back.
Help!
..

Hi Shirley,
Boot the system into Safe Mode by holding the CTRL key down
at system startup. In Display Properties reduce the screen area
then click OK, or press enter. Restart the system.
