Hey there!
Just to be certain, what you're trying to say is that you want to
"cut and paste" a picture from a website so as to print it on Word?
Anyway, which version of word are you using?

It's me again.
Let us assume that you have MS Word '97 and above.
First, save your picture from the Internet into the hard drive.
Preferably to the "My Pictures" Folder.
Then open your MS Word and go to
Insert > Picture > From File.
Extra note on MS Word :
If the picture's landscape (or horizontally long),
you can adjust how you want to print it.
Go to File > Page Setup
Click on the "Paper Size" Tab and adjust accordingly
By the way, don't forget to adjust the printing paper quality.
Hope all works out for you.

Nancy,
Right-Click the Pic>Copy>Paste in Word> if using Word 2002 click within
pasted image>Stretch to size desired. If further formatting is desired,
Click within image - a border again appears>R-Click again and "Format". Trim
by desired amount, etc. There are numerous features within Word for this
type of manipulation. Also there is the
PhotoEd.exe that is a part of Word (2002, maybe others as well)
Another alternative, and useful regardless is the freeware viewer program
IrfanView ver. 3.85.
Same procedure as above, but you paste it in Irfanview instead. Thereafter
the image may be saved and used in a variety of manners. i.e. as an
attachment; copied and then embedded, etc. it may also be edited for size
and a *few* other things as well. You may also use an external editor (if
you have others) with File>use external editor.

It's good, it's inexpensive (heh-heh), versatile (Mp3player, Ra player, Mpeg
player, QT player, and *lots* more. It does everything but take out the
trash, or double on Sax. I also use ACDSee6, but sometimes I don't need all
of that. Photoshop is way good, way expensive, and overkill for many things,
so why bother for simple tasks?

All Nancy wanted was to copy a pic on a program "she" might be

For all you know, "she" might be working in the office.
Oh, I got the photoshop from my friend's art school.
She was the one who decided to study "graphic design".
I can't even draw a circle, let alone write my name in Chinese!
Oh, I needed the QT for downloading game/movie trailers.
Winamp was just there in my CDRW.
Must've backed it up before my PC crashed last year.

asked. I merely offer the other as an extra bit of info; an *option*. As to
whether she wants, needs, or is permitted to is left to her discretion.
Overall, it was just a humble addition to the totality of humankinds
knowledge, that's all. I'll probably get slammed by someone for saying it's
good or not good...that seems to be happening a *lot* lately. No good deed
goes unpunished.
Photoshop...that's a nice freebie too...if one has the source, resources,
and skills to take advantage of its features.

Yup, and there's the 'karma' issue there.
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
Alright let's not flood Nancy's thread.
