Hi - I had this problem a few weeks ago and stumbled on the solution. I have
not been able to recall what I did.

My image files - jpg, gif, bmp, ... all are now carrying the WinZip icon,
but they are not associated with WinZip, they open normally in VuePro which
I often use

In an attempt to override whatever is stated in the registry (I guess), I
unloaded and reloaded VuePro to see if the icons would change when I click -
"associate files with VuePro" - but that didn't work,


So I then opened Vallen JPegger and associated these files with it - but the
icons didn't change.

Using right-click-"open with" also had no effect on freeing up the icons for
the these files. Any ideas?
