"Incompatible version of the RPC stub"
Posted by KrisB on August 17th, 2003

OK, a little while ago someone advised me to search for
adware and spyware on my computer regarding this error. I
did, and was surprised about how much crap was hiding on my
hard drive I got the Spybot S&D which took care of all
it detected after a reboot, however, I still get this error
when I try to install something using that uses the Wise
installation wizard.

Unhandled Exception

Error Number: 0x80070725
Description: Incompatible version of the RPC stub.

Stup will now terminate.

Any suggestions? Really frustrating

Run an anti-virus program or go to House Calls at Trend Micro online.,
assuming you are using W2K or XP.
