I receive the message: 'WHILE INITIALIZING DEVICE V86MMGR:
INSUFFICIENT MEMORY TO INSTALL WINDOWS' on boot, will boot
in safe mode only.

I can find a reference to this problem with Windows 95 but not with
Windows 98.
The Windows 95 problem pertains to having too many accessory cards and
other devices installed in the computer, causing a critical shortage
of IRQs. The solution is to physically remove some of the devices or
to disable them in Device Manager when booted into Safe Mode.
