Invalid page fault

Last night I downloaded Explorer's SP1 and now everytime I
want to donwload anything, I get the following error:
"This program has performed an illegal operation and it
will be shut down"
WITH THE FOLLOWING DETAILS:

"EXPLORER caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 017f:bff7b9f5.

Can anybody advise me on how to fix this problem?

Select Kernel32 errors on this page for some clues.
