Having frequent crashes with this error message,
EXPLORER
"This program has performed an illegal operation and will
be shut down."
Details says trouble is in KERNELL32.DLL
A search for KERNELL32.DLL found 2.
1) C:\WINDOWS
2) C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM
I suspect there should be only 1, but I can't delete the
first one - or should I?
Thanks,
Dick

The first thing to be resolved is the file name.
Is it indeed KERNELL32.DLL, or is it KERNEL32.DLL?
Second thing to do is to right-click on each
and check all of the details on each file, especially the Version #.
Eventually, you just want one, the correct one,
in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM.
