- Lost left side of windows explorer and internet explorer
- Posted by Peter Cura on September 3rd, 2003
I have no idea except when I hit up-date I clicked the
wrong buttons a hundred times because I panicked. The left
side has nothing on it. I know it is supposed to have
folders and drives but the only thing there is just the x
where if I click that it will close. I am not very good
with computers and have been studying for 2 years and
still have no idea of how to do things right. I bought the
master book for windows 98 but I get lost. I believe that
the address window has something to do with it because all
it says when I hit windwos explorer The launch windows
explorer icon first then (http://www.aol.com/) I believe a
folder should come up first.
I hit the arrow at the end where address is and a tree
comes up with desktop and the rest of the stuff that is
usually under it and I click on window explorer near the
bottom of the tree. Then it comes up with what I have
typed in the ( ) above. Now if someone can help me how
will I know? Would it be possible to send an email to me
with subject EXPLORER.? Thanks for your time and
consideration. crpmc@aol.com ( Peter )

"All Folders" Pane Missing or Windows Explorer Is Blank
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;192315
When you start Windows Explorer, the All Folders pane may be missing, or the entire
Windows Explorer window may be empty.
