This is the DOS error message that the file you
wanted to execute is not in the Filepath.
1. Computers cannot say anything before going into DOS
2. When booting from a floppy, we expect the DOS
commands to call files from A: or possibly C:
it is a surprise to see calls from D:
So long as this is a booting floppy you
are in business. Even if it lacks SYS.COM
you can locate that DOS utility (needed to
transfer Operating System files from floppy
to C
in c:\windows\command
and copy it to the floppy A:
Then check whether the floppy has files
AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS.
If so rename them
REN AUTOEXEC.BAT AUTOEXEC.WAS
REN CONFIG.SYS CONFIG.WAS
and reboot from the floppy. Then
type to the DOS prompt A:>
SYS C:
Then remove the floppy and reboot.
This should enable the PC to boot
and load Windows (if installed) from the hard drive.
reboot from floppy
