except my audio. It says no sound card detected and I had
a working audio before the crash. I checked the

the sound card drivers, usually on a cd or disk that came with the card need
to be installed. If the sound is on the motherboad, then the drivers will be
on the disk for the motherboard. Otherwise you will only have the windows
default beeps from the system speaker, same as without the video driver u only
have 640*480 16 color.

Your sound card would have to be Plug-and-Play in order
to be recognized by Windows. Since it is not, you should
download the newest drivers from the sound cards manuf.
and install them through the control panel-multimedia.

One can run multiple sound card. I have in the past.
Windows does not care how many cards you have installed or even if they are
installed.
Load all the drivers you want even if they are not installed.
You need to go to the control panel and specify under multimedia which card
to use if your using more than one.
That still doesn't help you does it.

Download this and run it then use the info it provides to help us help you
find drivers for you sound card.
The program is called Unknown Device and helps identify Unknown Device's.
Sweet huh.

....of course you haven't got a sound card plugged into a PCI slot AND your
onboard sound chipset switched on in your BIOS have you ? :-)
If so, switch off your onboard sound chipset in your BIOS.
