I know there a lot of utilities out there and this is probably going to start some turmoil. I just want to know want people think before trying any of these. So What do people think of these programs Tweak UI v1.33, RegClean v4.1a, RamBooster version 1.6, CyberTweak 1.0, system cleaner 4.9, Motherboard Monitor 5.3, Dr. Hardware 2004 Build 5.0.1e, CWshredder, Cacheman 5.50? Please be specifice. Thanks for the input.

I'll just say that both Tweak UI and RegClean are very good tools - in the
hands of experienced users, that is. If you don't know what you are doing,
however, you can create a lot of damage. I've never used any of the others,
so I can't comment - other than to say that there is a lot of bloatware out
there.
Try using Google for your research.

Would have been easier to reply if you'd put each item on a single line.

I've used Dr. Hardware. It's a tool to test - well,
hardware! Runs your computer through all the paces and
does some benchmarks too. Very good for geeks, useless
for the average user.

Well, if you don't mind some shameless self-promotion, I would recommend the
upcoming System Cleaner 5 for a number of computer maintenance tasks. It
will include a Registry Cleaner, more shredder options, a more simple to use
interface while retaining the advanced features (if needed) and much much
more.
A private beta version of the Registry Cleaner will be available shortly to
registered members. While some of you might think it will be yet another
registry cleaner, let me tell you it will not. We tested dozens of existing
programs and you would be surprised with the number of incompetent and
hazardous software out there.
We took special attention to easy of use and presenting all the information
on a easy to read and analyze format. More on it in a couple weeks when we
release it to the public.

FYI, "shameless promotion" of one's own not-freeware *is* frowned upon here. Very much frowned upon.
If you're a regular contributor of otherwise non-partisan assistance, freely given with no expectation of any return of any kind, and do not specifically promote your own goods as *the* solution to any particular issue, then a link to your site in the sig is *usually* acceptable.
Otherwise, it's a "commercial-free" zone.

If that shredder "feature" goes anywhere near the Recycle Bin, you will probably
have people in the group recommending against the product so it might be wiser
not to bring it up anyway. Experience has taught us that file shredders (when
used on the RB) will sooner or later break the RB. Also the number of users
that really need a file shredder is very small. Most people don't keep files on
the system that have to be shredded. Products like yours just make it sound
like a good idea.

I'll go one step further (at the risk of pissing off almost everybody)...
Anyone who can't just as easily (and quickly) do their own manual system cleanup, with a very minimum of tools, should either learn how or leave well enough alone. There's is *no* "automatic" fix-it-all or clean-it-all-up tool in existence that won't, sooner or later, foul up your system--and foul it up bad.

Not at all. The shredder will be a context menu item. No link to the Recycle
Bin whatsoever.
Just right-click on a file, select the shredder and confirm the file
deletion.

Most shredders also allow you to do that to the Recycle Bin and that is where
the problem comes in. You will find that R-clicking on the RB still shows the
option to use the shredder and that is no good.

No problem. I may even check your stuff out, though if you read my other posts, you'll understand if I don't end up recommending it very often. I don't usually recommend *any* of this kind of thing to average users, <s>.

I agree entirely. Far too many people install this or that "add-on" program
with the expectation of improving or enhancing their system, and just end up
with obtrusive and/or conflicting bloatware that only adds confusion, or
worse.
