Registry Probs - Utility files won't run

A virus scanner will kill a virus. It will not necessarily undo the
damage that the virus caused. For that, go to the McAfee site, & look
for manual instructions. Also,
http://www.aumha.org/regfilesz.htm Registry patches-- may have something
to reactivate your .exe file associations.

| Regedit, ipconfig and other related utility files will
| open but immediately close.
| Was told that the worm, bugbear may be present.
| Ran McAfee, and other virus software.
| McAfee found and fixed.
| Tried the Regedit, msconfig file and no improvement.
| Ran other virus software programs.
| None indicating a virus found, and none premitting the
| utility files to run.
| Any ideas????
