Is there any way i can rename numerous files at once in win98se, like
i used to be able to do in win3.1. using wild cards like asterisk &
question mark?

related problem :
ever since i set up and installed my cable modem and software i have
not been able to access a DOS prompt or start the computer in dos mode
without a fatal error occurring and subsequent crash.
this is very troublesome since i have a lot of bat files that i use.
does anyone know what happened to my dos?
