Repair registry

my computer has been rebooting saying it has a corrupt
registry. I tried using scanreg /restore and scanreg /fix
but this did not resolve my problem.

Many times this is an indication of failing physical memory.
If you're comfortable working on the innards of your computer, remove the
ram and then reseat it. Sometimes this makes the ram have better 'contact'
and solves the problem.
If you have more than one 'stick' of memory, you could try just one at a
time to 'weed' out a possible bad one.
Or, you could take your ram and/or your computer to a shop and have the ram
tested.
