Streaming sound suddenly crashes : MSDXM.OCX error in Internet Explorer ...
Posted by reply@newsgroup.please on September 11th, 2003

I used to be able to listen to radiostations via Internet Explorer. But this
week Internet Explorer crashes when I open the link to my radio-station.

After the crash Internet Explorer restarts and in the url I see that it directs
itself to IE5 & Update (which it cannot find) and ends up with the regular
update where it will not find anything for I am up to date.

I searched for MSDXM.OCX and in C:WINDOWS\SYSTEM I see that MSDXM.OCX has as
date 09-09-2003. It is aprt of a group with the same date: Comct332.ocx,
Comdlg32.ocx, mscomctl.ocx, msinet.ocx, Mswinsck.ocx, Sysinfo.ocx and
Tabctl32.ocx.

I then looked for any software that has been installed on 09-09-2003. And yes!
..... Audioshaker!!

But what to do now? Uninstalling Audioshaker will not put back the files
mentioned above.

What to do?
