- Want to boot from CD Rom: Where/how do I change BIOS?
- Posted by John Schafer on August 23rd, 2003
I want to be able to boot from a floppy or CD rom. My
Dell Inspiron 7000 laptop with Windows NT Windows 98 does
not even look for either of those two, but only mounts
windows on the C Drive. I believe I need to go into the
BIOS and can have it look for booting from either one of
those drives, but don't know if this is correct or how it
is accomplished. Thanks in advance for any help you may
give me.
John

Check your laptop manual or the Dell site for details on whether or not this
is possible.
