Windows Protection Error

Hi,

It's a line to support real mode drivers, and you don't need it. Check the
properties of the soundcard in device manager. There is usually an option
there to disable the DOS or "legacy" drivers.

If you are unfamiliar with how to do this these are the steps:

Right Click "My Computer" and select properties

Click the Device manager tab, make sure you choose "show device by type"

Click the + in front of sound, joystick, etc to reveal your soundcard and
double click it.

Check the tabs for the legacy driver and disable it.

Then use "apply" and "ok" to get back out.

Close device manager and restart your system.
