- can't get 95 upgraded to 98
- Posted by Scott Young on December 28th, 2003
I've got the full version of windows 98 se, and I'm
trying to install it on a computer running 95. It gives
me the message "Your computer already has an operating
system installed, which cannot be upgraded by this
version of Setup. Please obtain the Windows 98 Upgrade."
Is there any way of installing 98 from the full version
without the upgrade?
Thanks.

You might be able to force the system into upgrading with that CD - see:
