- clean install win98se
- Posted by george on August 20th, 2003
I'm trying to install win98se on a new hard drive that has
been partitioned and formatted. Two questions:
1. When I run the install off the win98se oem cd, it says
that I already have an os installed but it is a clean hard
drive. What's going on?
2. When scan disk does a preinstallation check it says the
amount of memory being reported is incorrect and asks me
if i want to fix. I know this is probably because my hard
drive is 40G but is it okay to let scan disk fix it?
Any answers? Thanks.
