I have been newly appointed and the person who was
previously working left and my problem is I want to add a
new network printer and when I click Start button the
Settings and Run menu is not seen and also I can not
access the property of the My Computer either. The
previous guy disabled all that to prevent the users is
from messing around since its a multiuser computer. I even
loggen in with administrator privilage and still I cant do
anything, does anybody have an idea about this, how to
enable those

Open regedit.exe to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\ Policies
\Explorer
In the right pane, delete these two entries: NoSetFolders and NoRun
If regedit has been disabled, post back.
