- Platform Builder and 2 NICs
- Posted by Andy on April 6th, 2005
In order to download to my CE device, I must disconnect from my lan,
type in a static 192.... IP, and download the image via Platform
Builder. I thought I could add a second NIC so that I could stay
connection to the lan/internet while downloading to the CE device. For
some reason I STILL have to disable the internet NIC before Platform
Builder will detect and download to the CE device.
Any suggestions?
Internet NIC:
146.x.x.x
255.255.254.0
CE LAN
192.168.1.1
255.255.255.0
Thanks,
Andy

Bridge the two networks (select both in 'network connections', and find
the 'bridge' menu item. That works on our setup.
