- 16934 from MSCRMdeletionservice

Hello all,
After several years of a rock solid crm installation we have recently begun
to see this error
16934 from MSCRMdeletionservice
Error: Deletion Service failed to retrieve tables for deletion.
in the sql logs i then get the error "login failure for crmadmin" which is
the account the deletion service runs under. I've noticed that the failure
occurs for whomever happens to be logged in (generally its crmadmin)
Ive triple checked the permission levels and all looks well. Nothing in the
installation has changed since the error started occuring. Ive been
struggling with this for a few weeks and am totally out of ideas... Can
anyone suggest anything?

We have seen this issue from time to time. The best approach for this is to
submit a support incident where they will diagnoise this and then advise on
how to resolve (mostly some scripts to cleanup some bad CRM records in SQL).

for support anymore...

The current CRM support is v3.0 or newer. Are you on v1.2?

We are on v 3.0 but all our backend is 2000 which is unsupported. Im not
sure what will happen if it turns out to be a sql error or something. I'd
like to find a solution without having to pay for a support incident if at
all possible.
