ACT to MSCRM
Posted by Ruben Skoljarev [MIS AG Australia] on August 25th, 2003

Hi,

We are trying to migrate data from ACT! 2000 to MSCRM using Scribe Migrate
4.0.
The problem is that data is structured in too different ways in both
systems.

I'll appreciate if somebody can give me some general guidelines or clues.

Thanks in advance!

Ruben,

Have you tried using BizTalk server? Try and get hold of the MS CRM
Data Migration Framework CD - this has mappings etc for the major
mid-market CRM systems.

Ruben,
What data are you converting? Do you have a DTS package created yet? If so
please post.

Thanks
Ben

Ruben,

Scribe has published templates to import from ACT into MS CRM which you can
download from their site. I have used trhem and they saved me a lot of
hours. I highly recommend you take a look at them.
