- Activity sorting

Hello,
We have a user who wishes for the historical activity list
associated with their contacts, etc. to sort by date,
rather than by subject. When selecting the view to sort
by "status" it appears to sort by date. I want to set
that as his default, or as the default for the entire
organization. Can anyone help me with how to do this?
