- AD User renamed now unable to login to CRM
- Posted by damian.savage@gmail.com on January 16th, 2008
Hi,
I renamed one of my AD users (due to them getting married thus surname
changed) and now they are unable to login to CRM using the Outlook
client. They can use the web based client without issues...
In CRM users it shows her account as her old name, I can not delete
this user nor can I add the renamed AD account as a CRM user as it
complains that it already exists.
Does anyone have any ideas how can I resolve the issue?
Thanks,
Damian

I had to reboot the server. Stupid as all hell it ddn;t update AD names.
Anyway, for me it took a full reboot and then everything worked normally.
You could try restarting CRM services to see what happens. Or jsut wait it
out for 24hours until it automatically updates. I have no idea how aften CRM
updates its name tables from AD.
