after creating a new custom field of type picklist and populating the
picklist in form A's customizing, how can I add a field linking to the same
picklist -not only similar content- in a second form?

The way picklists are designed in v1.0, there is no way to achieve this w/o
resortting to some custom development with the SDK. The alternative is to
make sure you have defined the picklist values exactly the same on all the
forms.

thanks a lot. That's what I suspected, so I followed your advice. It's not
the best way of linking and referencing data but..think I'll have to cope
with it.
