- administrator is locked out of the system!!
- Posted by farshad on October 2nd, 2003
Hi;
I have installed the CRM finally, and it was working fine
until I noticed that somehow one of the users was
assigned "system admin" role!! then I tried to remove
this role, and all of a sudden I, the real domain
administrator, am not able to even log into crm anymore.
now the crm system is without administrator and useless,
and nobody could change any settings now or even open crm
manager. please help, this is really funny and amazing!!
thanks,
Farshad

1. Find out what your SystemUser GUID is.
2. Using SQL, add a different role to your user id.
3. Using SQL, assign all permissions to that new role.
4. Using CRM, recreate the sysadmin role.
Sucks but it is the only way.

1. is systemuser the same as administrator?
2. how do I find out what the GUID is?
3. if administrator is not able to login to crm, then how
do I add sysadmin role to a user?
