Contact Assignment

Dear All,
Sales Manager reported that when he is taking account from one sales person
to another sales person, It gets shared between both of them. Ideally
assignment should take the record from sales person to another.

Is this a problem or its working this ways ?
Can we change this behaviour ?

It sounds like you may have your permissions set to allow teams or business
units to see each other's accounts. You may want to review your permissions?

Hi,

When assigning an account to another person, the account automatically gets
shared to the previous owner. This is by design. As far as I know, you cannot
change this.
