After syncing contacts to outlook the leading "+" for the telephone numbers

Hi

I had the same problem and managed to solve it by definining a "fake"
country to phone and modem options.

Hi, can you explain a bit more about where you create the 'fake' country to
phone etc. please?

Thanks

@all:

finaly I found the solution last week:
Thanks to the installation of the CRM 4 client I had to reinstall office.
Then I installed the Outlook offline client and syncronised CRM with Outlook.

Now my "+" problem resulted from not setting the phone/modem options in
windows (the first time you add a contyct to outlook manualy the dialog pops
up to configure this - in my newly installed environment this settings had
gone)

But this wasn't enough to do (in this case I would have "solved" the problem
4 weeks ago). You have to ....
- disable the "Sync Contacts" in the options
- syncronize
- activate the "Sync Contacts" in the options
- syncronize

done.

Hi

By "fake" country I mean that I defined to My Locations Zimbabve, where from
I believe I'll never have any contacts.

For some reason if area code is same as in a phone number, the "+" sign is
removed while syncing contacts.
