- Contracts, Month to Month Allotments

Well I'm trying to figure the best way to do this in CRM, here it goes. I run
a computer business and we have contracts that we want to track per desktop
and the amount of cases they use per desktop or server they have on contract
with us. Os if I understand CRM correctly i need to add a line for each
desktop and server to the contract as a separate line. That is fine but then
how do I keep track of the usage monthly? Is it monthly if I set the billing
to monthly and will the allotments change every month or will they just be a
lump sum? Anyway to make this allotment restrict on a monthly basis? Thanks

money helping us get this thing customized, please contact me, cause we need

Looks like you may be able to manage allotments with Contract templates. You
can use advanced find or write a custom report for the Contract info you want
to report on. Where are you located?

Well having issues with the report server also, haven't figured out to fix
that yet. We are in Atlanta Georgia. So do you know if the billing option
makes any difference on the allotment amounts, like if it is set to monthly
that the allotments automatically reset every month.

I had a client who needed something similar, we went down the approach of
'cloning' any Contract Lines on a Contract when it was invoiced, so that
there was a copied Contract Line for each month with the same number of
allotments. Cases could then be placed against the Contract Line for the
relevant month.
