Hi,
I'm currently working on a project that requires a credit card payment
processing with Dynamics CRM 4.0 Professional edition. I spoke with Nodus (an
ISV who has an add-on for payment processing) however they are re-building
their product and it will not be ready till the end of this year.

Does anybody know what is the best way to integrate credit card payment
processing with CRM 4.0.

I am also currently working for some client to integrate CRM with Credit
Card System. Let me explain you some details;

First of all you need to develop some application to handle credit card
details and communication. There is also a possibility to use some third
party component which can be consumed by .net.
You need to have good understanding of MS CRM customization and CRM SDK. CRM
SDK is basically libraries to enhance CRM functionality programmatically.
Check out how to consume CRM web services and callouts.

The combination of above will help you getting to the solution.
